Santa Maria Police arrested a 20-year-old Ian Applegate, a Santa Maria resident, on suspicion of robbery Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to a robbery in progress at Harbor Freight Tools in Santa Maria on Monday, but say the suspect got away before they arrived.
Surveillance video showed the suspect fighting with store employees, leaving one employee with a severe head injury.
Applegate was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
