A longtime Los Osos watering hole that was closed down for months opened for business under new ownership.
The Sweet Springs Saloon has been around for decades. The folks behind its rebirth poured a lot of money into upgrading the bar. They got rid of the dropped ceiling, remodeled the bathroom, and put in new flooring and a new pool table.
"We opened it last month," said Sweet Springs Saloon General Manager Mark Harding. "We opened very softly, just let people stroll in and just check it out and now we are doing a grand opening, letting everyone know throughout the county that were open and we’re back and we’re ready to roll to be one of the best bars in the county again."
They’re planning plenty of live music plus weekly pool tournaments.
