CAL FIRE officials say one person was sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon after they were injured near the Big Falls trail in Arroyo Grande.
Several fire engines and a California Highway Patrol helicopter were dispatched for the search and rescue mission.
The circumstances surrounding the incident and the nature of the injury was not released.
