SLO County supervisors say these roads are a priority for SB-1 road paving funds

The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors has approved a list of road paving projects for the 2018-19 fiscal year as part of the SB-1 gas tax program.

Approximately $6.5 million in SB-1 funds will be used to repave 15 miles of county roads.

Those roads include:
North County

  • River Road
  • Arbor Road
  • Estrella Road
  • Linne Road
  • Winery Road
  • Geneseo Road
  • Las Tablas Road
  • Santa Rita Road
  • Gahan Place
  • Rainbow Court
  • Peacock Court

Oceano

  • Air Park Drive
  • Dewey Road
  • Norswing Drive
  • Railroad Street
  • Mendel Drive
  • Pershing Drive
  • Truman Drive
  • 22nd Street
  • 24th Street

San Luis Obispo County received $2.3 million in SB-1 funds for the 2017-18 fiscal year. That money is being used to help pay for the paving of six miles of O’Donovan Rd. in Creston and Bennett Way in Templeton, work which is expected to begin in the next few months. A portion of the funds is also being used to repave Main St. in Templeton this coming fall.
