California’s 24th Congressional District includes Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and northern Ventura Counties.

The candidates are incumbent democrat Salud Carbajal and republicans Justin Fareed and Michael Erin Woody.

The debate will be moderated by KSBY News anchors Richard Gearhart and Carina Corral. The candidates will reply to select questions supplied by viewers through KSBY’s social media platforms. Questions may be submitted by email to, on the KSBY Facebook page, and via Twitter.

The commercial-free debate will air on KSBY from 4-5 p.m. It will also be available to watch on the KSBY live stream.

Central Coast voters will cast their ballots in the primary election on June 5. The top two vote-getters in the Congressional race will continue on to the November general election.
