Local families celebrated Mother’s Day across the Central Coast on Sunday.
Some chose Avila Beach where Brunch on Wheels hosted an event with live music, lawn games, and local food trucks.
Many moms were feeling the love at the event.
"I’ve got a great mom, so I feel like I’ve learned from the best and I’m just trying t olive up to her standards," said Nicole Azar.
Other moms boogied down at a concert and picnic at the Jack House in downtown San Luis Obispo. Cake was also served from the Madonna Inn.
"I think this is very beautiful, such a nice day to have cake and enjoy it with my family and the music… such talented young ones!" said Christine Carlson, who is a mom to two kids in Grover Beach.
About 50 people attended the event in San Luis Obispo.
