The city of Santa Maria has given a green light to developing five auto dealerships at Enos Ranch.
The city’s planning commission approved the plans to build five auto auto dealerships – expanding over 26.6 acres – in a 5 to 0 vote Wednesday night.
Toyota, Honda and Home Motors are three of the developments that will be relocating from their existing locations in Santa Maria. The other two dealerships have not been determined.
The Santa Maria Auto Center will be divided into two campuses, according to the staff report, as the north and south campuses on either side of Meehan Street.
The staff report also said a noise study that was conducted in April indicated impacts were either minor or non-existent, giving another green light to the city’s development plans.
The groundbreaking date has not been set at this time, however, project managers hope it can happen before the end of this year.
