A 20-year-old college student was injured in a 15-foot fall in Isla Vista Sunday morning.
Authorities say the UCSB student, who has not been identified, fell off the roof of a home on the 900 block of Camino Del Sur around 1:30 a.m.
The man was reportedly in the process of taking a photo of his friends when he got too close to the edge of the roof, and fell 15 feet.
When first responders arrived, police say the victim was breathing on his own. He was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
"The fall appears to be accidental, however, alcohol may have been a contributing factor," the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office said.
