One person died in a car crash Saturday morning in Paso Robles.
Police say the single vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Golden Hill Road and Creston Road at 2:22 a.m. The driver reportedly crashed into a light pole when she was driving west on Creston Road, approaching Golden Hill Road, and lost control.
When authorities arrived, the driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old woman who was identified as Chanel Mickelsen, of Valley Center, was dead at the scene.
Paso Robles PD says alcohol seems to be a contributing factor to the crash.
