Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire west of Atascadero Monday afternoon that spread to nearby brush.
It happened on Old Morro Road West at Toleman Road.
As of 3 p.m., the fire had burned about an acre. Air attack was called in to help firefighters extinguish the flames.
CAL FIRE said there was no immediate threat to any structures in the area.
