Food truck catches fire in Lompoc

Posted

Lompoc fire crews responded to a report of a commercial food truck that was on fire around 11:00 p.m. Sunday.

The food truck was near a residence in the northwest side of town, officials say. When crews arrived they found the food truck well involved in flames, threatening a nearby home.

Lompoc fire officials say a fast knockdown of the fire ensured there was no damage done to the home.

There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
