The San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department will begin construction this week to make culvert and bank repairs on Bitterwater Valley Road.
The work, which will take place near the San Luis Obispo/Kern County line, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 29 and continue for approximately three weeks.
During construction, a minimum of one lane of traffic will be opened to the public with approximately 10-minute delays.
The culvert was badly damaged due to heavy rains in the winter of 2017.
The project, which costs nearly $65,000, is being funded by FEMA.
