Murder charges have officially been filed against a man accused of murder in Lompoc.
Last week, police arrested Kenneth Robbie Whalen, 30, in connection with the death of Theopheus Bennett, 33.
Bennett was found with multiple stab wounds at Lompoc’s Barkin Park on the morning of Tuesday, April 3. He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
Whalen appeared briefly in court on Wednesday but his arraignment was continued to Thursday. The charge against him includes a special allegation that he used a knife during the killing.
