Santa Barbara CHP and fire officials are responding to a 5-vehicle accident at Las Positas Road near Highway 101.
Officials say it happened just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Responding officers said some of the people involved suffered injuries but have not commented on the extent of those injuries.
Traffic in the area is congested.
