Pismo Beach students enjoyed ‘Pizza on the Pier’ Friday with Pismo Beach police officers.
The annual event is always held on the last day of school and is meant to celebrate the end of the school year.
The Pismo Beach Police Department said officers also use this day as an opportunity to interact with local kids.
The event was free to all children on a first-come, first-served basis. The pizza was donated by Del’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant and the police department offered free refreshments.
Attendees were also able to check out several motor vehicles used by Pismo Beach police.
