A man was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car in Lompoc Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. on Ocean and L streets.
Authorities say the unidentified man was flown to a hospital in Santa Barbara with serious injuries.
Police were testing the driver for drugs and alcohol, but is it is unknown at this time if either were a factor in the crash.
The intersection was temporarily closed while the crash was cleared.
