For the second time in a matter of months, water was spewing out of a fire hydrant along California Boulevard in San Luis Obispo.

The latest incident happened Saturday night when a car hit the hydrant next to Campus Bottle.

A student who captured the incident on video said about 20 people could be seen outside watching the water shoot about 40 feet into the air until the hydrant was turned off around 9:30 p.m.

No word on what caused the driver to hit the hydrant, which was also hit back in April.

This past Friday, a hydrant was hit in downtown San Luis Obispo, but no businesses were damaged.
