Low clouds and fog are expected to stick around on the coast through the weekend with fair skies inland. A southerly flow has helped to keep the marine layer along the coast.
Moderate to strong onshore gradients will general the usual gusty afternoon southwesterly winds across the mountains and deserts. Wind speeds are expected to stay below advisory levels.
Temperatures are forecasted to cool a bit on Sunday but remain above normal for interior valleys. Highs in the warmest inland locations should reach the mid-80s to lower 90s. Coastal valleys will reach the low to mid-70s. Beaches will remain in the 60s.
High pressure will strengthen, bringing warmer temperatures and a decrease in cloudiness for early next week.
