A car crash pushed deputies to shut down Highway 192 for 24 hours Saturday morning.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says a car crashed into a power pole around 5:25 a.m. on Highway 192 in Montecito.
The power pole was sheared in the crash, causing deputies to close the highway at El Bosque and Hodges Lane.
The closure will be in effect for at least 24 hours, and expected to reopen Sunday morning.
The sheriff’s office says to avoid the area. No other details were given about the crash.
