Two people were robbed and threatened at knifepoint in Santa Barbara Friday morning.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery was reported just before 6 a.m. on the 3300 block of Gibraltar Road.

The victims say three men wearing bandanas covering their faces threatened them with a knife while stealing items from their car.

After the robbery, deputies say the victims followed the men to a house on the 1100 block of Hillcrest Road. Once deputies arrived, they didn’t find any of the suspected robbers.

The sheriff’s office says two of the men were also in flannel shirts while the third was in a pullover jacket. If anyone has information about the robbery, give the sheriff’s office a call at (805) 681-4100 or leave an anonymous tip at this website.
