Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in Carpinteria.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff officials said at approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday night, they got reports of a fire on the 4900 block of Nipomo Drive in Carpinteria. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the home fully-involved in flames.
They evacuated nearby areas and told people to avoid the area if possible.
There have been no reports of injuries. This is a developing story. More information will be added as it becomes available.
