The Lompoc Police Department is currently investigating reports of an assault with a machete.
Police say the call came in at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to the 500 block of North 2nd St.
Officials say there is one suspect and one victim involved, with family present at the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
