Two Grover Beach police officers were reportedly attacked at an area park Monday afternoon.
The Grover Beach Police Department has provided few details about the incident, only saying the officers were attacked by a "suspicious person" they tried to contact at a local park at about 2:18 p.m.
The officers and suspect were all injured and taken to local hospitals, according to police.
People at Mentone Basin Park on the 1500 block of Trouville Avenue and S. 14th Street told KSBY that officers had been in the area, but were gone by 3:30 p.m.
