A deputy with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s office has been charged with driving under the influence.

Rainer Lee Bodine has been charged with driving while impaired, during an incident at the Oceano Dunes earlier this year, according to his attorney Chris Casciola.

Casciola said Bodine has been fully cooperative and plans to resolve the case during his next court appearance.

Officials with the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office declined to comment on the charges, citing personnel issues.
