On Friday, deputies said a 29-year-old man had severe stab wounds on his stomach. The victim is still recovering in the hospital. Deputies have not yet released the victim’s name.

Sheriff’s deputies said that Lowe and the stabbing victim were acquaintances living in the same homeless encampment at Highway 101 and Patterson Ave. in Goleta.
