As heartbreaking as the loss of homes in the Holiday fire in Goleta have become, there is this moment that will make you smile.
On Sunday, a couple who have lived in their home for three years along Fairview Avenue, returned only to see it destroyed.
Santa Barbara County Fire allowed Ishu and Laura Rao to search for her wedding ring.
"She found the damaged Tiffany ring & Ishu promptly dropped to a knee and asked her to marry him again," reported SBCFireInfo on Twitter.
