Firefighters responded to a structure fire at approximately 12:15 a.m. Monday.
Santa Maria Fire officials report smoke started coming from the roof of a business on the 400 block of South Blosser Road.
Officials say there is no sight of flames, just smoke coming from the building.
There have been no injuries reported.
The cause of the smoke is under investigation, and the smoke has been contained to a single business.
As of 12:45 a.m on Monday police officials have the road blocked for fire crews to work on putting the smoke out.
