At approximately 6 a.m on Monday over 2,800 people are experiencing a power outage in San Luis Obispo.
San luis Obispo fire officials are currently working on a tree that hit power lines on Loomis Street that caused the power outage.
The area along Grand Street from Monterey Street up to Cal Poly are experiencing the outage.
PG&E expects the power outage to last until 9 a.m.
