The Santa Maria Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Thornburg Ave. and Church Street.
Officials say that witnesses reported seeing a suspect exit a vehicle, fire several rounds at three young males walking on the sidewalk, then return to the vehicle before the vehicle sped off.
The victims were not injured, and police are still searching for the suspects.
