Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, JULY 21

Bent Axles Car Show
9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Old Town Orcutt
More than 200 classic and custom cars from across the region will be showcased at this annual show. The event will also include Oldies music, vendors and a raffle.
Free event.

Docent-led Nature Walk
9:30 a.m.
El Moro Elfin Forest, 1103 15th Street, Los Osos
Meet at the boardwalk at the end of 15th Street for a docent-led walk through the Elfin Forest, home to more than 200 species of plants and hundreds of different types of animals. Wear comfortable shoes and long sleeves and pants.

Sphinx & Drinks
5-8 p.m.
Dunes Center, 1065 Guadalupe St., Guadalupe
The Dunes Center will unveil the most recent artifacts excavated from the set of "The Ten Commandments." Enjoy a 1920s-themed party with live music by the Tipsy Gypsies, hors d’oeuvres from the Far Western Tavern, a live auction, and museum activities.

Central Coast Renaissance Festival
10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Laguna Lake Park, 504 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Step into England in the year 1585 and enjoy Elizabethan dancing, plays, singing, a falconry show, magic, juggling, jousting, and more. Vendors will be selling unique arts and crafts as well as food and drink. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

SUNDAY, JULY 22 

Obon Festival
11:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 313 W. Tunnell St., Santa Maria
The annual Buddhist event is held to commemorate one’s ancestors. The family-friendly festival will feature Bonsai and martial arts demonstrations, taiko drumming, Obon dancing, traditional Japanese food, and an arts and crafts area for the kids.

Festival Mozaic Unclassical Series: 9 Horses
2 p.m.
See Canyon Fruit Ranch, 2345 See Canyon Rd., Avila Beach
The group 9 Horses includes Jon Brent on acoustic and electric mandolin, Sara Caswell on violin and Hardanger d’amore, and Andrew Ryan on bass, playing a variety of genre-hopping music. Bring a picnic or purchase beer, wine and snacks at the venue.
