The city of Santa Maria will consider a small project that will house senior citizens soon.
The senior housing project is a 13-acre property at the corner of Blosser and Cox. Currently, there is a house in that area that is proposed to be demolished.
The housing unit will have 30 single-story cottage units, some duplexes, and a small common building in the middle of the property.
Organizers have to finish the environmental review phase before scheduling a formal hearing with the planning commission.
