Ticketholders to the Bacon and Barrel Festival are now receiving refunds.
The annual festival that celebrates bacon and bourbon was scheduled for July 13-14 in San Luis Obispo but was canceled.
Two months before the event, the website expired. The company, Create Promotions, is accused of not informing ticketholders of the festival’s cancellation.
When KSBY News reached out to the company for comment, the business showed signs of ceasing operations several months ago.
Create Promotions said that those who already bought tickets would receive refunds within a few days.
As of Friday morning, some ticketholders have received refunds.
