A house caught fire around 6 p.m. Sunday night in Lompoc and investigators are calling the blaze suspicious in nature.
The fire started at 119 North L Street. When firefighters arrived they found smoke billowing from a second story window of a home. They were able to knock down the flames in about ten minutes.
Officials say nobody was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to Battalion Chief Brian Federmann with Lompoc Fire Department.
