Wine tour van reported stolen in Buellton

The owner of Santa Barbara Classic Wine Tours says one of the company’s three tour vans was stolen Saturday in Buellton.Kevin Donoghue says the van was parked in front of Standing Sun Winery. The driver left the van on to keep the AC running while he went inside to let his customers know it was time to leave. Donoghue says when the driver returned to the front of the winery, the van was missing."We’re a small, family-operated business, you know. For us to get by and feed our kids, this is what we do and we depend on this and we just want our vehicle back," Donoghue said.According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, the theft of the van occurred at around 3:40 p.m.The 2014 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van is gray with a white air conditioner on the roof. The license plate is "WINE TR1." Anyone who spots the van is urged to call law enforcement.
