Vehicle rollover slows traffic on Hwy 1 in SLO

A vehicle rollover on Highway 1 was backing up traffic near Cal Poly Tuesday morning.It happened just before 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Stenner Creek Road in San Luis Obispo.Officers with the California Highway Patrol tell KSBY the driver said he was reaching for a cup of coffee when he lost control of the SUV.He was able to get out of the vehicle before emergency crews arrived and sustained only minor injuries, according to CHP.One lane of the two-lane highway was blocked as of 8:15 a.m., slowing traffic through the area.An overturned vehicle was blocking the fast lane along southbound Highway 1 in SLO Tuesday morning.
