Emergency responders say a vehicle that caught fire has spread to brush on Highway 1 in Cambria.
California Highway Patrol reported the vehicle had been smoking and caught fire at the intersection of Highway 1 and Ardath dive just before noon Sunday. Several vehicles were reportedly stopped attempting to help.
CHP officers and San Luis Obispo Cal Fire is on the scene now.
