Cal Fire SLO firefighters quickly stopped a brush fire that broke out Tuesday morning along Highway 101 southbound in San Luis Obispo at the Cuesta Grade.
Details are limited but according to CHP logs, the fire started near the West Cuesta Ridge trail head.

Cal Fire officials say the fire started at about 8:10 a.m. and was contained within 10 minutes.
CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo County Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau personnel were able to contain a roadside spot vegetation fire S/B Hwy. 101 on the Cuesta Grade. Response is being cancelled.

Be aware of first responders in the area but no major delays along the 101 are expected.
