An Arroyo Grande restaurant held a fundraiser Monday in an effort to raise money to send a local baseball player to the World Series.
Me and Z’s hosted a fundraiser from noon to 8 p.m. for the Babe Ruth team in Five Cities.
A special menu was offered between those hours and 100 percent of the sales will help send the all-star team to the World Series.
As of 5:15 p.m., the restaurant had sold about $1,200 in food and raised about $1,900 in donations.
