The Santa Barbara Police Department had a busy weekend with 20 felony arrests during a popular event.
The peak in parking citations and arrests were all made during the weekend of Santa Barbara’s historical celebration, Old Spanish Days Fiesta.
There were eight arrests on Friday. Saturday hit the peak for traffic citations reaching 22. Police faced nine DUI arrests along with nine gang contact cards.
Police handed out 86 parking citations, 40 of which happened on Friday.
No other information was given about the citations.
