Hundreds of new students were welcomed Wednesday at Pioneer Valley High School in Santa Maria.
There are 815 incoming freshman enrolled at PVHS for the upcoming school year.
Wednesday, the school’s "link crew" greeted the new students, showed them around campus while dressed in fun and quirky outfits, held ice-breaking activities, games and more.
Also within the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District, freshman orientation took place Wednesday at Santa Maria High and is scheduled for Righetti High School freshman on Thursday.
