As children across the Central Coast get ready to head back to school, many of them will need help with school supplies.

That’s where "Stuff the Bus," a joint campaign between KSBY and the United Way, comes into play.

It kicks off on Thursday in San Luis Obispo County and Friday in Santa Barbara County.

There will be five drop-off locations in San Luis Obispo County and two in Santa Barbara County where those wishing to donate school supplies can do so.

Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., KSBY Meteorologist Dave Hovde will be out with volunteers at Staples on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo collecting donations for the campaign.
