Whales were putting on an impressive show in Pismo Beach this week.
KSBY viewer Justin Laughlin says he was taking his lunch break at the beach on Thursday when he saw a whale close to shore.
Laughlin used his drone to get a closer look and then saw a calf also pop up.
The mother and calf swam around for a few minutes before leaving the area, according to Laughlin.
