Direct flights from Santa Barbara to Minnesota will soon be available.
The Santa Barbara Airport announced the new flight Monday, which will be available through Sun Country Airlines starting Thursday to the Minneapolis/St. Paul region.
The 3.5-hour flight on board a Boeing 737-700 will operate Thursdays and Sunday.
Thursday – Sun Country Flight Schedule
- Depart SBA 9:55 a.m. PST arrive MSP 3:25 p.m. CST
- Depart MSP 7:05 a.m. CST arrive SBA 9:05 a.m. PST
Sunday – Sun Country Flight Schedule
- Depart SBA 5:50 p.m. PST arrive MSP 11:20 p.m. CST
- Depart MSP 2:55 p.m. CST arrive SBA 4:55 p.m. PST
"The low cost direct flight option to MSP opens up significant travel opportunities for our outbound travelers," said Airport Director Hazel Johns in a press release. "Not only does Minneapolis offer a vibrant and dynamic destination in its own right, Sun Country Airlines’ service offers Santa Barbara residents great one-stop, low fare options to New York and Boston."
Flights can be booked now. Roundtrip tickets start at $196.
