While many K-12th graders are heading back to school across the Central Coast this week, classes are also starting at Cuesta College.

The community college, which has campuses in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles and also offers classes in Arroyo Grande, kicked off its fall semester Monday.

This fall, Cuesta is offering new classes and certificates in the areas of viticulture, GIS and culinary.

The school also has a new president

Cuesta College says many classes still have openings and it’s not too late to sign up.
