The Ferguson Fire was fully contained on Sunday at 96,901 acres according to the fire’s incident information system page.

The fire started on July 13, the cause is still unknown.

There are still 41 water tenders, 18 helicopters, one fire crew and seven dozers still assigned to the fire.

Firefighters will continue to patrol, mop-up and repair fire lines.

The Ferguson Fire information page said during the heat some unburned vegetation will continue to burn, but it will not threat containment lines.

Wawona Road from Wawona to Tunnel View and Glacier Point Road will remain closed. The Pohono Trail along the south rim of Yosemite Valley is closed at Tunnel View as well.

The air quality in the surrounding areas is expected to be good to moderate.
