The Santa Maria Valley YMCA, Friends of Waller Park and other local organizations invite community members to Family Day in the Park, an event that encourages outdoor fun.
The event is free and runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Waller Park.
Families can enjoy carnival style games, free entertainment and lots of food from a variety of vendors.
If you don’t have a car, no problem, they are offering free shuttles every 15 minutes from a nearby K-Mart parking lot.
