No injuries reported in Lompoc house fire

Firefighters in Lompoc are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at a home Tuesday evening.

The fire started in the 1000 block of North Poppy street around 6:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived at the scene and saw smoke and fire in an attached garage at the single family home. Firefighters were able to put the fire out within about 10 minutes of arriving on scene.

Video posted on Facebook by the Lompoc Firefighters Association showed firefighters responding to the scene.

No injuries were reported, but as many as eight people were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting them.
