One person was sent to the hospital Tuesday evening for stab wounds, according to Santa Maria Fire.
The department said in a tweet that one person was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with multiple stab wounds around 7 p.m.
The incident happened on the 900 block of north Palisades Drive, near Tunnell Park.
Little information is available at the moment. Santa Maria Police Department is investigating the incident.
