Authorities are investigating the discovery of a suspicious object in Isla Vista.
The object was found Wednesday morning in front of the Isla Vista Foot Patrol building on Trigo Road, according to an alert from the U.C. Santa Barbara Police Department.
Police are asking people to avoid the 6500 blocks of Trigo, Seville Road and Sabado Tarde, as well as the walking and biking paths on Ocean Road between Seville and Sabado Tarde.
