The Central Coast is getting the Hollywood treatment, Coast, a movie about a 15-year-old girl living in a small town who seeks refuge in music, if filming a concert scene in Nipomo Saturday.
A press release from the movie says the film explores what it’s like to grow up in a small diverse farming community where no one tells you how to dream. The release says the movie is an empowering female story about finding value and self-worth.
The movie is filming a concert scene on Saturday night. They asked Central Coast residents to be extras for the scene, but after getting much interest they said they have enough extras for the scene.
